Carleton Varney quote from his column in
the Palm Beach Daily News, August 2006
“I have always been a fan of Redouté flowers and ferns, those great, happy botanical images drawn by the great artist.
Imagine having a career where you painted every flower specimen in Empress Josephine’s garden!
Today’s new Redouté might be Bruce Robert Frank, a photographer from Kentucky. This artist is going in the same
direction as Redouté – of this I’m certain – and he is using all the techniques of today to bring startling
new images to the world of interior design. I’m certainly happy to be able to introduce you to his work.”
