Jean Carol Breeding, commercial artist and photographer works on wildflower and Kentucky natural beauty preservation through art.
She photographs, oil paints, and hand-colors. She spends much of her time exploring remote mountainous areas of Kentucky and Tennessee seeking unusual flora and scenes.
She also writes poetry about inspiring flowers and places.
Her work: slide shows, prints, and paintings are used as teaching tools to increase awareness of natural beauty and the immense need to preserve this heritage.
She is a member of the, Kentucky Guild of Artists, and the Native Plant Society.
She decorates commercial sites but offers services of private homes.

• Decorating assistance with selection of print media, design, mat, and frame colors, which coordinate with wall and color schemes.
Her accolades include:
• Featured writer and photographer for a premier issue of Garden Guide. Her article, “Wild at Heart”, pertained to wildflower landscaping and presented several of her wildflower prints.
• Area speaker at University of Kentucky – Jean was chosen to present her picturesque perspective of Appalachia for the Polsky Forum.
• Print display at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, Nashville, Tennessee display of five weeks with 31 prints.
• Jean worked with a tour company three years showing Kentucky beauty through prints and slide shows to people from all across the United States and several foreign countries.
• Commissioned paintings and prints have been hung in many commercial places of business and private homes throughout Kentucky and parts of Tennessee.
