Jewelry & Metal

Deb Chenault, owner/artist of Twelfth House Designs, was privileged to study the art of jewelry design with the master silver artisans of Thailand. She is a juried, exhibiting member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, the Kentucky Craft Marketing Program, and the Sheltowee Artisans. She exhibits her work at many galleries and museums across the region and is the Resident Artist at the Promenade Gallery in Berea. Deb works in the traditional, solderless method of wireworking, using only simple tools, dowels and her hands to form her jewelry. Each piece is made by the artist from precious metal, often incorporating gemstones and found and created objects--including porcelain face pendants sculpted by hand. Influenced by her work as a writer and illustrator, she also finds great inspiration for her designs in the natural world that surrounds her home and studio in the wooded hills of beautiful Berea, Kentucky |
