Melissa first began working with stained glass in 1999. Over the years, her designs began to draw more inspiration from nature and the elements in her work developed texture and dimension. While the connection between light and color moved her to continue to use glass elements, the addition of metalwork in 2004 has allowed her designs to expand into the 3-D artwork she is known for today.

Melissa is a juried member of the Louisville Artisans Guild, the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, and the Kentucky Craft Marketing Program.
