Erika Strecker has been an artist for over 20 years, creating Public Art, Sculpture, and Functional works of Art. Erika and her husband- also a Sculptor & Metalsmith- Tony Higdon- have partnered for the past 6 years on Large-Scale Public Art Works as Higdon-Strecker Studio, Inc.

From Hand-Forged pieces of one-of-a-kind furniture, lighting, large and small-scale sculptural works; Erika designs and builds all of her work. Erika works as a blacksmith, fabricator, and designer, working in a wide range of materials from bronze, to steel, and stainless steel.

Erika has work in Corporate, Private and Public Collections; such as the Jewish Hospital Medical Facility South, McConnell Springs Park, the State of Kentucky, and Berea College.

Erika and Tony live and work in Lexington, Kentucky. They have works for sale in their gallery, which is a part of their studio facility. Higdon-Strecker Gallery & Sculpture Garden is open Mon-Fri from 10 am to 5 pm and by appointment.
