We have a delicious treat in store for you! The Kentucky Guild of Artists & Craftsmen will now be carrying donuts from Donut Days Bakery Thursday-Saturday (7am-10am) to go with your coffee from Creative Coffees! Donut Days Bakery has been serving the Lexington community for over 40 years as a locally owned and operated family business. They have recently opened a location in Richmond and are happy to now serve the Berea community through the Kentucky Guild art gallery. Stop by and see us! Gallery open until 5pm 🍩

Timothy Baker to Perform at Fall Fair 2016!

We are so excited to have Timothy Baker - Music at our Fall Fair on October 8th & 9th!  Timothy does covers, as well as his own original music, available on iTunes! Timothy is a young singer/songwriter and Nashville Recording Artist born and raised in Krypton, KY (near Hazard). He began playing the piano at age 8, mandolin at age 9, and since then he has become an accomplished musician on the banjo, Dobro, harmonica, fiddle, bass, drums, and his primary instrument, the guitar. Timothy was raised on bluegrass and gospel music influences, and spent much of his young life traveling the state with his family’s band, The Baker Family. July Raffle With Featured Artist, Pam White

    For the month of July, we will be raffling off a Kentucky Wildcat-inspired coaster set by Pam White! The set comes with 4 coasters that proudly show off a wildcat paw print, as well as a coaster stand. Our featured artist of the month, Pam, is originally from Missouri, but after receiving her Master's Degree from the University of Kentucky, she knows what it means to "bleed blue!" She is a proud military wife and mother of five. Her family enjoys traveling often; Pam has even had the opportunity to teach in Alaska, Ohio, Missouri, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, and Arkansas.  When talking about her work, Pam states, "My tile work is a style that I call "stained glass...

Featured Artist: Evelyn Schnee

KY Wire Gems crafts unique jewelry: bracelets, necklaces, rings, brooches, cuff links, headbands, and earrings using a myriad of stitches with needle and fish line. This art is normally referred to as off-loom bead weaving. I use quality Swarovski crystals, Toho and Miyuki seed beads, various gemstones, and assorted glass beads.   Sharing the love of beading Teaching beading classes has enabled me to share my love of beading.  The limit of six students ensures sufficient time to assist with beginning beaders, help with color selections, and untangle knots. All materials are included in the class price.
