Rosie the Riveter is a cultural icon representing women's historical impact, taking over jobs that were previously done by men, during WW11. She is 19 inches tall. She is made combining machine embroidery, appliqué, and machine and hand sewing.
Her body is made of Kona cotton, denim, fleece, and faux leather. Buttons are machine embroidered onto her shirt and her name is appliquéd resembling her name badge. Pants are made of light-weight cotton and are removable. Her hair is sewn into an up style hairdo and has yarn pieces that were twisted into curls and hand-sewed to her head. She comes beautifully packaged in a window gift box with an attached embroidered ribbon of the famous quote "We Can Do It".
